The Account Manager will be responsible for helping manage strategic advertising partnerships and prospecting for potential advertising partnerships for StormX. The person in this role will provide thought leadership around account management best practices. They will be familiar with advertising campaign management, MMPs, postbacks, macros, mobile UA and execution.

The right candidate will be able to drive optimizations based on deep analytical insights and data to show a positive return on advertising spend for our clients. This is a highly collaborative role which will interface with Storm’s internal team and executives as well as our high-profile external partners.

As part of the Account Management and Business Development team, the person in this role will be directly managed by the EVP of Business Development.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to develop and manage our Storm brand and message across multiple stakeholders and communities. In addition to strengthening our brand and implementing content strategies, this individual will also oversee customer acquisition and retention efforts for our Storm Play mobile app.

What you’ll do:

  • Create a marketing function within Storm as a solo contributor and then lead the efforts to scale and build/manage a marketing team.
  • Manage an outside PR agency and their contribution to our marketing efforts.
  • Develop budgets and annual plans for the Storm marketing function.
    • Lead content strategy and delivery to connect effectively with our Storm token community.
    • Learn and lead within the unique attributes of the cryptocurrency community.
    • Deliver quality content in appropriate channels that speaks to the targeted audience or stakeholder. Current social channels include a blog, Twitter, Facebook, Sub Reddit, and Telegram.
    • Develop Storm personas and voices to most effectively reach our communities and stakeholders.
    • Manage global community and content contributors to a consistent standard that reflects well on Storm.
    • Plan and execute on a content calendar.
  • Lead the planning, measurement and metrics to achieve user acquisition and retention goals for our Storm Play mobile app.
  • Lead brand building efforts including website redesign, brand assets, a style guide, and other visuals. Web design skills are a plus. What we’re looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience as a marketing manager. Global experiences preferred.
  • Fluency with mobile user acquisition & retention, social media management, community management, PR, branding and content strategy.
  • A candidate that brings high standards for visual design and content. In addition to planning and direction-setting, you are comfortable with hands-on marketing work.
  • Capability of building processes that measure and scale Storm marketing efforts.
  • Familiarity with effective tools, processes and practices for managing content, brand assets, and community.
